Basic information, atomic structure, and isotopes.
The six noble gases are found in group 18 of the periodic table. These elements were considered to be inert gases until the 1960& ,s, because their oxidation number of 0 prevents the noble gases from forming compounds readily. All noble gases have the maximum number of electrons possible in their outer shell (2 for Helium, 8 for all others), making them stable..

Basic information, history, and properties.
When you open any file of an element in the periodic table, you will find a small table with some basic information about that element. Here& ,s how you use that table. The number of protons in an atom defines what element it is. For example carbon atoms have six protons, hydrogen atoms have one, and oxygen atoms have eight. The number of protons in an atom is referred to as the atomic number of that element. The number of protons in an atom also determines the chemical behavior of the

This site lists Plant Hormones and their characteristics and goes on to try to provide unifying 'reasons' for their effects. It is not part of current scientific thinking.
For this point). They named it brane to get us used to the sound and the pun& ,s concept dovetails with real brains as scientist now know the human brain is itself kind of a sheet which is just crumpled up to fill the skull. Anyway then, the heart of God would be the 12th dimension and would be from where all the other dimensions are derived..Let& ,s go a little further. The strings are said to vibrate in the new physics. Now computer programmers call text or words in their programs, strings.

Phototropism

This page gives an introduction to phototropism (a plant's response to light).
Founder of the experimental approach to plant physiology. Inventor and constructor of numerous devices for the study and quantitative analysis of plant physiological processes. Author of several standard works, like Lehrbuch der Botanik (A textbook on botany, 1. to 4. edition 1868, 1870, 1873, 1874), Vorlesungen ber Pflanzenphysiologie (Lectures on Plant Physiology, 1882, 1887), Geschichte der Botanik (A History of Botany, 1875). The illustrations of his work remain until today a definite part

You want to have a good look at us. We are TWIN super models for FRIEDLI ENTERPRISES and model ONLY things we believe in. Louis Georges is the bigger one. He is one minute older than me. So should I call him big brother? I think I will just call him brother. Georges Remember! I am also heavier. Louis So are you saying, if I go to the gym and lift weights, I will become your elder brother? Georges Remember! I started walking first. Louis Oh! so what does it make me, when I was the first to solve

Plant ecophysiology and palaeoenvironment

Personal commentary on the application of stable isotopes to forest/crop ecophysiology and palaeoeenvironmental studies.
Water lead to suspect about some fractionation at the plant level. (Gonfiantini et al. 1965) proved for the first time that the isotopic composition of leaf water was enriched in heavy isotopes during transpiration. When plant roots take soil water there is no fractionation, so the critical site of fractionation is the leaf. Summarising, the.O in source water, (2) evaporative enrichment of leaf water due to transpiration, and (3) biochemical fractionation during the synthesis of organic matter

Plant Hormones

A comprehensive site on plant hormones from the University of Bristol, UK.
Donor for all GA carbon atoms. This compound is then converted to copalylpyrophosphate which has 2 ring systems Copalylpyrophosphate is then converted to kaurene which has 4 ring systems Subsequent oxidations reveal kaurenol (alcohol form), kaurenal (aldehyde form), and kaurenoic acid respectively. Kaurenoic acid is converted to the aldehyde form of GA12 by decarboxylation. GA12 is the 1st true gibberellane ring system with 20 carbons. From the aldehyde form of GA12 arise both 20 and 19 carbon
